Veterinary House Calls is much more convenient for you because it eliminates the time and energy you must spend loading and unloading your pets, driving to the hospital, and waiting in the waiting room. And no matter how much your pet may like riding in the car, very few pets enjoy the clinical setting of exam rooms, treatment rooms or cages. When you use Veterinary House Calls these stresses are effectively eliminated.
No. Because our overhead is significantly lower than a traditional veterinary hospital, our prices are very competitively priced.
Just call (831) 373-6948 and you can leave a message and I will call you back shortly during working hours. Appointments are made for specific times and because we feel your time is as important as ours, we are prompt. You may also request an appointment online.
You bet. We’re happy to take care of any or all of your pet’s health care needs.
No. Because your pet is much more relaxed, much less anesthetic is required in most cases, so the risk is actually reduced. Also consider that at stationary hospitals the staff goes home at 5pm, leaving your pet unattended, but at home you will be there to give tender loving care to your recovering pet.
Not all “emergencies” are as life threatening, as they are scary. We are equipped to handle many of these situations. So feel free to leave a message in my voice mail or page me for a more immediate response. But if you feel you can’t wait, please contact the nearest stationary hospital. For after-hours and weekend emergencies, please call either the Pacific Veterinary Specialists at 831-476-0667 or the Santa Cruz Veterinary Hospital at 831-475-5400.
Do you know anyone who wants to die in a hospital? Your pets are no different. We enable your pets to spend their last moments on earth in the loving comfort of their own home. Our euthanasia protocol is based on the concept of “passing away in your sleep” and is very peaceful.
Payment is made at the time of service and we accept cash and personal checks.
